Having previously been seen in gaming circles as a Collectible Card Game (1999 by Precedence Entertainment) and as a Tabletop Roleplaying Game (2001 by Wizards of the Coast) the series has surprisingly never been the subject of a board game until now. Dire Wolf Digital, best known for their superb Dune: The Imperium and Clank! board games, have announced War of the Dragon: The Wheel of Time, a two-player board game.
