Philipp Posko’s gamesART has launched its latest Kickstarter.
Entitled MTV - Modular Trading Vessels, this new campaign features a quartet of 3D-printable, 28mm scale spaceships. The four ships include:
The Type D short range shuttle:

The Type S multi-role, short-range operations vessel:

The Type M mid-range hauler / mobile base / deep-space lab:

Equipped with full bridge control, a two-level structure, and extended interior space, the Type M offers enough room for long missions and specialized operations – from troop deployment to interstellar trading
The Type L mid-range hauler / mobile base / deep-space lab:

The Type L is equally suited to a role as a mobile headquarters, a command and or a logistics centre. It features three decks and plenty of space in which to place miniatures, cargo et al.
These modular vessels have been specifically designed to be setting / system neutral, allowing wargamers and roleplayers to use them in any sci-fi setting they see fit. They are also optimized for home printers and use the modular Openlock system; this allows a host of options for mixing and matching parts of different ships to create entirely new and unique configurations. This customisation also extends to the decks, which use the modular Gridforge system.
All of the ships in this campaign are available as STL files or—ideal for Neanderthals such as I who don’t even own a pair of 3D glasses, never mind a printer—as physical products.
Add-ons for this campaign include a smorgasbord of small, 28mm scale ships and vehicles released previously by gamesART over the past two years.
See the Kickstarter campaign for more details.
