Something a little different this time. Neon Portal is running two Dungeons & Dragons sessions spanning Friday and Saturday night (10th and 11th April) for young people aged 11-17. The sessions run from 17:30 - 22:30 on both nights and are being organised by Neon Portal’s Tom Hunt - a professional entertainer and activity leader who is fully DBS checked, trained in safeguarding and has been working with children for the last 12 years.
Tom will be running story-driven, action-packed campaigns, with “deadly serious games in very silly settings, and very silly games in deadly serious settings”. He is passionate about sharing his own love for Dungeons & Dragons with an entirely new audience, and combines this with a desire to show kids that they can be creative collaborators without the need for a phone or computer screen.
All that’s needed is a water bottle and some snacks. Dice, stationery character sheets and miniatures will all be provided but you are welcome to bring your own.
