I 3D Print a lot. I also see a few companies have moved from the plastics to 3D Printing miniatures as it is easier and for smaller companies I totally understand it. If you can sell 10,000 units then yes you want a steel mould and injection moulding. If you are only selling a few hundred then maybe 3D printing is the way forward and of course you can sell the prints or you can sell the files both...
