Tiny Battle Publishing's RATTENKRIEG! Now Available for Pre-Order

A game box for "RATTENKRIEG!" features a dramatic black-and-white image of two soldiers navigating through a war-torn landscape, emphasizing the game's focus on the Battle of Stalingrad. The title "RATTENKRIEG!" is prominently displayed in bold, white letters at the top, with the designer's name, Gottardo Zancanni, listed below. In the background, various game components, including counters and maps, are partially visible, hinting at the game's intricate mechanics and immersive experience.

American company Tiny Battle Publishing’s catalogue of games is about to expand yet further.

Shipping later this month, RATTENKRIEG! promises to be an ‘immersive, man-to-man solitaire wargame’. Set in 1942’s Battle of Stalingrad, the game is driven by ‘an innovative AI bot’ which itself is governed by a Player Aid Card that ’outlines the logic governing enemy behavior’; this system sees the opposing forces act ‘in an unpredictable and tactically cunning manner’.

This new and updated edition of RATTENKRIEG! also promises players an ‘expanded experience’ thanks to additional scenarios, more counters, scenario, AI bot Player Aid Cards and multi-coloured dice. It has also been designed to challenge players with ‘brutal close quarters combat’ and ‘the chaos and intensity of urban warfare’.

Eight scenarios, 28 unit counters, 60 admin counters, and four maps are also included in this ‘challenging solitaire experience’.

RATTENKRIEG! is now available for pre-order, but you won’t have to wait long to get your winter mitts on the game: it ships the week of December 9th, 2025.
