Osprey Games are releasing an updated and expanded edition of Joseph A. McCullough’s popular kingdom builder mass fantasy battle wargame Oathmark: Battles of the Lost Age.

Daimyo: A Mass Battle Samurai Wargame is the lastest game is the Osprey Wargames series. Daimyo balances a ‘beer and pretzels’ style ruleset with accurate representations of mass battles during Japan’s Sengoku period. While many excellent wargames model small-scale skirmish combat from this era, Daimyo puts players in command of entire armies.

Osprey Games have just announced that their owners, Bloomsbury Publishing, has made the decision to sell the card and board game division. The announcement, which is only minutes old as I write this, is copied below in full. There is currently no further information available regarding possible suitors, timelines, or whether the division will be sold in full or the individual titles will find homes across multiple publishers.
