Dan Thut invites you to K-pop a cap in a demon’s ass.
Coming soon to Kickstarter,’ Idols of the Neon Dark will seek funding for a ‘5E+ K-Pop fantasy adventure’. Said adventure will take the form of a ‘neon-fantasy 5E D&D adventure’ in which ‘K-Pop idol-warriors fight demons with rhythm, style, and heart’.
Set in the ‘glowing streets of [the cavern city] Lumenica’, Idols of the Neon Dark offers players a Golden opportunity to Take Down demons roaming the streets. Players will create characters using Idols of the Neon Dark’s new Demon Hunter class before setting out to Free Lumenica from demonic possession.
Whilst hunting their diabolical prey, characters will be able to utilise an assortment of new spells and magic items … and they’ll need every last one of them. These demons—drawn from Korean folklore—won’t be beaten easily, meaning players will have to combine Strategy with prowess if they want to show those pesky demons How It’s Done.
Described as ‘Ideal for D&D parents and their kids, new players, or anyone who wants a bright, stylish twist on 5E’, this campaign will also present backers with a ‘positive, empowering tone’ and a roleplaying experience that is ‘Colourful, heroic, and welcoming for younger players’. It also promises to accommodate both new and more experienced players; the latter can transport their characters into Lumenica ‘from any plane or realm of the D&D universe’.
The campaign also includes STLs for suitably demonic and demon hunter-esque miniatures.
