Paint it Blanche with Army Painter
Body
The Army Painter are preparing to release their next sets of John Blanche paints.
The first expansion of the Masterclass series, these next two new sets feature ‘a collection of brand new Warpaints Fanatic and Speedpaints officially endorsed by Blanche himself’. These highly pigmented, dense paints have been ‘designed to inspire hobbyists to master [John Blanche’s] iconic grim […] yet beloved style’. They also offer ‘unparalleled coverage and performance’ and ‘acrylic paint for models and miniatures’
These new sets are themed around two opposing palettes; volume three ‘brings a haunting palette and chilling contrast’. It includes cool hues such as ‘ghostly’ pinks and ‘moody blues’. In contrast, volume four ‘burns with visceral tones’ and ‘unleashes visceral warmth and fiery, expressive colour’. The colours in this set feature the likes of red, orange and yellow. When combined, the two sets are designed to ‘form a dual spectrum that pushes grimdark beyond its familiar boundaries’.
These next John Blanche Masterclass sets will be released on February 21st, 2026. Those of you who pre-order them will also receive a free Dipit brush. As with the rest of the Dipit range, this brush is designed to provide ‘smooth, even coverage on large areas’.
