On The Rocks: Independent Belters in Clement Sector

Cepheus Engine Supplement by Independence Games

There's always another rock…

The trouble is that most of them won't be a worth anything.  A few might support a mine for years.  But somewhere, among the millions of asteroids in Clement Sector and beyond, is the rock that might make you rich.

On The Rocks: Independent Belters in Clement Sector is a comprehensive guide to the people who live and work among the asteroid belts of Clement Sector.   Prospectors, miners, family operations, merchants, salvagers, and generations of belt-born people have made their homes in places never intended to support life. This book explores their communities, families, everyday lives, and the combination of fierce independence and mutual reliance that comes from living millions of kilometers from the nearest help.

The belts are also places to live and adventure. Mining camps, independent settlements, company towns, corporations, belter organizations, hazards, emergencies, rescue operations, claim disputes, abandoned mines, and encounters in the vast distances between asteroids provide the foundation for anything from a single adventure to an entire campaign. Referees will also find campaign advice and ready to use adventure seeds designed to bring life in the belts directly to the table.

On The Rocks: Independent Belters in Clement Sector brings the Western-style frontier spirit of Clement Sector to the asteroid belts. Stake a claim. Build a mine. Make a living. Build a home. Risk everything on the next survey.

Because while this rock won't make you rich, there's always another rock to check.
