Red Box Games' Fantasy Adventures Embark on Their Kickstarter Crawl.
Body
This year’s yuletide orgy of consumerism is approaching its climax and, ironically, most companies are now powering down for a well-earned rest. However, crowdfunders still gotta crowdfund, meaning the likes of Gamefound, Patreon and Kickstarter remain a hotbed of cool tabletop goodies.
Red Box Games’ Fantasy Adventurer is one of the best of these campaigns. This new project—which launched on December 22nd—features a band of brave characters of the type featured in most fantasy RPG parties. The core miniatures include male human and dwarf fighters, a male human wizard, a male human cleric, a male half-elf fighter thief, a male elf ranger, a male halfling thief and a male human henchman. All of these miniatures are available in both resin and pewter. A swish t-shirt is also available.
These figures are 28mm in scale and have been sculpted to be ‘generic enough to suit most player characters’ whilst also exhibiting a suitable degree of dynamism and that aura of ‘WTF have I gotten myself into…?’
Although in its infancy, the campaign has already hit its funding goal and is now approaching its first stretchgoal: a human female fighter. Further stretchgoals will be revealed as the campaign progresses.
This is Red Box Games’ twenty-fourth Kickstarter, with previous campaigns including various fantasy dwarves, goblins, orcs and other fantasy staples.
Fantasy Adventurer ends on Thursday, January 8th 2026 at 5:30 PM UTC.
