Make Waves with DeepWars

The original underwater tabletop skirmish game is back.

Described by publisher Antimatter Games as ‘the only miniatures game where you can have tabletop battles below the waves’, DeepWars allows players to control forces which range from ‘humans in steampunk dive suit to tentacled mariners and the mysterious high-tech warriors of Atalán’. Games are played in under an hour and contribute toward ‘campaigns of multiple scenarios [in which warbands] gain advancements as they win battles and gather treasure’.

Four intricately designed miniatures from the underwater tabletop skirmish game DeepWars are displayed against a neutral background. On the left, a large, armored figure with a green and blue color scheme wields a large ice sword. Next to it, a humanoid character in vibrant red and green attire gestures dramatically, showcasing blue skin and a confident expression. The third figure, a mermaid-like character with flowing purple hair and a shimmering tail, holds a staff adorned with a glowing orb. On the right, a warrior with a blue head and patterned armor brandishes a large axe, completing the diverse ensemble of characters. Each miniature is mounted on a textured base that reflects an underwater theme.

Each player will also have to face undersea creature with their own AI rules ‘that allow them to hunt any model on the board, hungry for blood’. Typically the battles will take place amongst shipwrecks, reefs and lost cities, making for fabulously thematic tables.
