The Crew Heads Back Out on a Journey to the Ends of the Earth

It turns out space and the deep ocean weren’t enough for The Crew. This time, the award-winning cooperative card game, is keeping its feet (well, mostly) on terra firma.

The Crew: Journey to the Ends of the Earth is the latest game from designer Thomas Sing, sending players racing around the globe in search of the secret treasure of Charlemagne. Along the way, the expedition will follow clues from the heights of Mount Everest to the depths of the Amazon Rainforest, presumably discovering that medieval emperors were remarkably good at hiding things.

As with previous games in The Crew series, Journey to the End of the Earth is built around cooperative trick taking, with players having to work together while operating under restrictions on how much information they can share.

The game features a 24-stage journey, with each stage rpesenting its own mission and new mission mechanics adding some fresh wrinkles. It’s designed for 3-5 players, ages 10+, and plus in around 30 minutes.

Published by Thames & Kosmos, The Crew: Journey to the Ends of the Earth is a standalone game rather than an expansion, so no experience or ownership of the previous titles is required.
