When The Shamen released their 1991 single “Move Any Mountain” I’m sure they didn’t figure their lyrics would be used in a hobby article about dice 35 years later. Yet, here we are, with what would no doubt be running through my mind as I use these dice for a critical roll in D&D

Move any mountain, move any mountain

I will not falter, I shall succeed

So, why you may very well ask, am I quoting lyrics from a Scottish bands first UK Top 10 hit here on Tabletop Sentinel? Well, my dear readers, that’s because this article is about a new Kickstarter campaign from URWizards for five sets of luxury dice inspired by some very special landmarks around the world.

Ok, so they might not be mountains, and the dice themselves might not be made out of actual rocks, but I felt the imagery and quotes worked. I had also consider the “rolling hills” quote from The Hobbit movie, which to be fair would have been a good one… but hey, let’s not dwell on the past and get back to the campaign at hand…

URWizards are currently raising funds for some brand new, rather spectacular, looking dice themed on world famous landmarks. All the landmarks in question are stunning geological formations ranging from Monument Valley in the States, to the Fagradalsfjall volcano in Iceland, to our very own White Cliffs of Dover here in the UK.

Each set comes in a hexagonal presentation box which includes a full set of seven polyhedral dice (d4, d6, d8, d10, d%, d12, d20), a dice polishing cloth and a fridge magnetic inspired by the chosen landscape design. Early backers will also have a Kickstarter-exclusive keychain included.

Accompanying the dice are a polishing cloth, a fridge magnet depicting a scenic landscape, and a backer-exclusive keychain. The overall aesthetic combines striking imagery with a cohesive theme centered around famous landmarks.

All the dice are also available individually for anyone who would like to pick and choose. The campaign also has a quick delivery date as the dice should start shipping out to backers his summer.

The campaign runs until 15th May and you can find more information about it on the URWizards: World-Famous Landmark Themed DiceKickstarter page.

And let’s close with another nod to The Shamen, who are obviously writing a Cleric or Paladin mantra leading up that critical campaign defining roll…

Faith is so strong now nothing shall bar my way

Firm conviction is no fiction

This is my day

I can move move move any mountain
