The timbers of the mighty ship squeal in futile protest as the drowned peaks of ancient mountains split her oaken belly. Desperate hands cannot stop nature from scattering their fragile redoubt of civilization across the waves, but in the Swordfish Islands, a shipwreck is only the beginning.

Shipwrecked in the Swordfish Islands is a system neutral sandbox and RPG toolkit built around Marlo’s Mire. This 10.5 square mile island is thick with danger, 12 points of interest, 7 mapped locations, and an interwoven network of NPCs quick to pull new marks into their schemes and games of chance.

From the beaches of the Mire, threads tug outward to other islands in the archipelago, past a sixty foot albino crocodile, and down secret paths to an extradimensional palace beyond the stars. But shadows from the mainland darken these shores. A vicious trading company seeks to squeeze every last drop of value from this world, and those beyond... if it can find them.

With the included one hour quickstart, The Maiden’s Revenge, and an optional rules lite RPG Meat Grinder system, any new group that washes ashore can start playing immediately.
