About

By Night We Hunt is a tabletop role-playing game for 2-5 players and one Game Master (GM). You play as souls who have been reborn in the Domains, an expansive continent nestled in a tear across the Fabric of reality. Through similar tears you will travel between the thousand, thousand Worlds woven into the Fabric, collecting souls left behind by the dead and extinguishing ones that have been overlooked, and in negligence turned feral. What those Worlds look like, and what else you will find on them is for your GM to determine, and you to explore.

System & Features

By Night We Hunt runs on an original, rules-light system, but which should be familiar to those which have played other TTRPGs and simple to pick up for those who haven't.

As a player, choose from one of 3 combat specializations and 18 backgrounds to start; pick up new abilities and mix and match features from different specializations as you grow stronger.

The Game Master section teaches you how to run the game, with random tables for putting together worlds for your players to explore, a bestiary of daemons and rules for creating more of your own, as well as 6 factions - some at odds with each other - to give your table plenty of hooks to latch on to.
