(Crowdfund Quest) Rebels Against Rebellion

Flying Pig Games has launched Rebels Against Rebellion, a new 1-2 player historical card-based board game from designers David Thompson and Trevor Benjamin, taking players to one of the lesser-known theatres of the American Civil War.

Rather than focusing on the famous battles of Gettysburg or Antietam, Rebels Against Rebellion explores the conflict in East Tennessee, where many local citizens remained fiercely loyal to the Union despite Tennessee's secession. Set in Scott County, players take command of either the Confederare forces attempting to restore order, or the Scott County Patriots, fighting for their freedom.

In Rebels Against Rebellion, the cards in your deck represent the units and locations under your control.

Each turn you will play cards to perform actions on the board and to add, remove, and improve the cards in your deck. The player who successfully spreads their control across Scott County is the winner.

The game also includes a solitaire expansion, included in the base game. In the solitaire version the player takes control of the Scott County Loyalists and fight the surrounding Confederate forces which are controlled by the game.

The game continues the design partnership of Thompson and Benjamin, whose previous titles include the award-winning Undaunted series and War Chest.

Rebels Against Rebellion is currently funding on Kickstarter, with the campaign running until Tuesday 18th August 2026.
