Caleb Engelke (aka Dungeon Havoc) has a history of successful crowdfunding campaigns for Mork Borg supplements and solo games. His latest campaign, Eat Crow, continues what he does best.
'Welcome to the Boiled Crow Inn! Come in, have a seat and I'll pour you a glass of milk wine. I brew it myself.'- Mince the innkeeper
I wanted to return to the Dying Lands of Mörk Borg and explore it through eateries. The zine includes the Boiled Crow Inn location, the Repulsive Cook class, and the solo game Galgenbeck Food Stall.
Boiled Crow Inn

This weathered and filthy inn oozes with problems. If your players deal with the current issue, Mince the long suffering innkeeper, will let them stay for free. The zine comes with multiple troubles allowing you to reuse the same location multiple times while keeping it fresh. Each individual room also has a random table to change up that specific space so that revisiting the inn never feels boring.
The Boiled Crow Inn is meant to act as a kind of hub between other Mörk Borg adventures, and give a glimpse into the kind of troubles less adventurous folk have to deal with on a regular basis in the dying lands. After all, what is the innkeeper supposed to do when cultists stops paying for their rooms and start worshipping the inn's cat?
Repulsive Cook
/article/3a783114-9f85-4410-a58a-82be1185e905/images/eat-crow2.jpg)
The dying lands are filled with regular scoundrel just trying to survive another day. On occasion these poor wretches can’t make enough in their regular profession to make ends meet and have to risk being an adventurer for the silver they need. This is the case for the Repulsive Cook. Fortunately, it is easy for them to join an adventuring band since adventuring crews would rather share silver with someone who can fill their belly over yet another ego driven murder hobo.
Galgenbeck Food Stall

In this solo game you took out a predatory loan to open up a food stall in the streets of Galgenbeck! You must either pay off your debts or end up in debtor’s prison! In the game you must buy ingredients to make dishes for your picky patrons, which may given you a boon for feeding them, or curse you if you fail to. Once you start earning silver you can buy some shop improvements and better ingredients to expand your menu. However, your success may draw the attentionof those looking to make some easy coin.
Eat Crow | A Mörk Borg zine and solo game is currently funding on Kickstarter and runs until Friday 4th September 2026.
