300+ Mythological Items for 5E and 2024 Coming to Kickstarter This September, Free Preview Available

Mythos Chronicles is preparing to launch Mythological Items, a new D&D 5E and 2024-compatible compendium featuring more than 300 magic items inspired by mythology, folklore, and legends from cultures around the world.

The book draws from Greek, Norse, Egyptian, Asian, American, Mesopotamian, and many other mythological traditions, transforming famous relics, divine weapons, sacred objects, and legendary treasures into fully playable magic items.

Alongside items covering every rarity, the book features scaling and evolving artifacts that can grow throughout a campaign, item sets that unlock additional powers when assembled, extensive mythological lore, and a wide range of weapons, armor, wondrous items, consumables, and artifacts.

Mythological Items follows the creators' previous Kickstarter, Mythological Creatures, which was supported by 731 backers and raised more than £44,000.

The Kickstarter pre-launch page is already live, with the campaign planned to launch in mid-September 2026. A free 30+ page preview of the book is also available ahead of the campaign.
