Mantic's Veer-Myn Make Their Firefight Debut

A diverse group of Verr-Myn miniatures is displayed, showcasing various characters from the faction. Prominent figures include heavily armored Stalkers and Runners wielding weapons, alongside smaller Thralls and a formidable Crone Mother with bio-augmented features. The miniatures feature a mix of green and gray colors, with intricate details highlighting their cybernetic enhancements and weaponry, all set against a plain white background.

Body

Already popular amongst Star Saga and Deadzone players, Mantic’s Verr-Myn are about to make their Firefight debut.

The bulk of Mantic’s Verr-Myn pack is formed by Stalkers and Runners. The former are 'bred and built for the press of close combat, relying on their armour shrug off their opponents' blows. They are armed with vicious assault weapons that rip robots and vehicles apart. Runners, meanwhile, use their chem-rifles, heavy armour and cybernetics to assault an enemy position.

A group of detailed miniatures representing Verr-Myn characters from the tabletop game, arranged in a grid pattern. The figures feature a mix of humanoid rat-like creatures, each equipped with various weapons and wearing armor. The color palette includes shades of gray for the bodies, with bright yellow and green accents on their gear, creating a vibrant contrast. The bases are textured to resemble a rugged terrain, enhancing the overall dynamic appearance of the miniatures.

The ragged wretches known as Thralls, meanwhile, have voltaic implants in their spines which drive them to fight or die.

These flea-ridden foot soldiers are led by an ancient and formidable Crone Mother. Revered by her brood as both matriarch and warlord, this bio-augmented embodies the relentless will of her brood. Her strength and cunning inspires her mischief of warriors to fight for her ‘even at the cost of their own bodies’.

A detailed miniature of a Verr-Myn character stands prominently, showcasing a muscular, anthropomorphic rat-like figure. The creature is adorned with a mix of metallic armor and vibrant green accents, featuring a fierce expression and a prominent spiked tail. It wields a large weapon in one hand, while various mechanical components and weaponry are attached to its body, emphasizing its role as a formidable warrior in the tabletop gaming universe. The base is painted with a simple design, enhancing the focus on the character itself.

Brood Sisters inspire fierce loyalty from their warriors. In Volt Chaser enclaves, Brood Sisters fight alongside Overchargers. More machine than rat, these Veer-myn queens have been upgraded with unstable—but deadly—cybernetics and unstable power nodes.

A detailed miniature of a Verr-Myn character, featuring a muscular, anthropomorphic rat-like figure with a green and gray color scheme. The character is equipped with various cybernetic enhancements, including a large backpack with tubes and a sharp blade on one arm. Its stance is dynamic, suggesting readiness for action, with a long, segmented tail and fierce facial features that convey a sense of aggression.

The mother is supported by a Technoratus. A crazed engineer, this veer-myn will determine whether a nest 'will remain traditional Veer-myn' or be cybernetically transformed into Volt Chasers.

A large, bio-augmented Verr-Myn figure stands in a dynamic pose, showcasing a muscular, rat-like body covered in a mix of green and gray armor. The figure has a prominent, spiked back and a mechanical arm holding a weapon, while its other arm is poised for action. Its feet are large and clawed, and the base features a simple, multi-colored design, suggesting a battlefield setting.

Hulking, flea-ridden Overcharger Shockguns rake their enemies with voltaic energy that leaps chaotically from one armoured target to the next. If that doesn't kill its enemies, then an Overcharger can resort for to plan B for Brutal Strength.

A detailed miniature depicts a Verr-Myn rider mounted on a large, cybernetically enhanced creature. The rider is equipped with a futuristic weapon, showcasing intricate mechanical details and a fierce expression. The creature features a muscular build with clawed limbs and a menacing face, emphasizing its role as a formidable combat mount.

The veer-myn known as the Piper inspires his brethren to swarm into battle, overwhelming their enemies with a flea-ridden tide of teeth and claws. They also swarm around the Piper, acting as a meatshield before surging forward to ‘tear into his attackers’.

A detailed miniature of a Verr-Myn character stands prominently in the center, clad in blue armor with a large, menacing head resembling a rat. The character holds a staff and has a tail extending behind it. Flanking the main figure are two piles of smaller, rat-like creatures, depicted in various shades of brown and green, suggesting a swarm ready to engage in battle. The base is textured to resemble a rugged terrain, enhancing the overall dynamic of the scene.

All this rat is going to need a ride; thankfully, the Scurrier light tunneller is on hand, bursting out of the ground and depositing its verminous passengers into the thick of the action.

A rugged, heavily-armored vehicle resembling a tunneling machine, featuring a large, spiked front and a cylindrical body with various mechanical details. The surface is painted in shades of yellow and brown, with weathered textures that suggest heavy use. The rear of the vehicle has a series of tracks, indicating its capability to navigate through rough terrain.
