Games Workshop Preview Their Myrmidon Destructors

Three Myrmidon Destructor miniatures stand prominently, showcasing their imposing designs. Each figure features a combination of metallic armor and flowing red robes, with intricate mechanical details and various weaponry, including large energy cannons. The miniatures are posed dynamically, emphasizing their role as formidable combatants within the Mechanicum's martial forces.

Games Workshop have previewed a new addition to the Mechanicum: the Taghmata Omnissiah.

Described as ‘the martial forces of the Mechanicum’, the Taghmata Omnissiah is composed as a ‘vast cohort of cybernetic warriors, automata, and war machines’. Already kitted out with an embarrassment of weapons with which they purge their enemies with devastating effect; the Omnissiah is about to receive yet more war toys in the form of the Myrmidon Destructors.

‘Hulking amalgamations of flesh and metal’, these eminent Tech-Priests consider their combative role as the ‘divine the will of the Omnissiah’, and their weapons every bit as liturgical as they are surgical. They’re also convinced that their machine deity wants them to ‘atomise people with their abhorrent weapons’, so who are they to argue?

With that in mind, it is fitting that the new and forthcoming Myrmidon Destructor Host contains six brand new plastic miniatures that can each be equipped with such ‘esoteric energy weapons’ as darkfire cannons, and irradiation engines which they use to bombard their enemies and the battlefield with deadly radiation. Each member of this devastative sextet can be built with a choice of different heads, and every third Myrmidon Destructor can also be equipped with one of three servo-skulls.

This new set is coming to preorder in the near future. See the Games Workshop website for more details.
