Get Your Cyberpunk On with the EdoKanto Kickstarter Campaign
Body
Corvus Games Terrain’s latest Kickstarter ends in six days time.
Entitled EdoKanto, this latest campaign by Corvus Games Terrain—and their sixth in total—features an excellent selection of 3D printable, cyberpunk-inspired, sci-fi buildings and terrain. Created for tabletop wargames and RPGs, this new set of scenery has been designed to be used with 28mm—35mm scale miniatures.
The buildings included in the EdoKanto campaign can be printed on FDM printers; they’re also designed to print ‘without the need for fiddly supports’ and ‘exported into the optimal orientation for printing’.
This campaign is raising funds for the following buildings, all of which are available as digital files only:
Tocho Building
A large, three-floor building. The ground floor features four optional slot-in doors and measures 8" square.
Tech Fixer
A mid-sized, two storey building with an optional rooftop billboard. Separate slot-in signage prints are also available.
Sunoku Market Building
Described as a ‘mid-sized building with a separate upper 'floor'’, this building can be used as ‘two separate buildings or combined into one larger structure’.
EdoCity News Stand
This small news kiosk is ideal for ‘providing cover and blocking line-of-sight’.
Mechanic Workshop
A mid-sized, single-floor building with stairs that provide access to the roof area.
Locust Eatery Building
This two-story building features ‘Slot-in hanging signage’. Access to the roof area is available via a ladder.
Large Apartment Building
One of the largest buildings in the campaign, this three-storey building also features optional slot-in hanging signage and a fire escape on the side. An extra upper floor is included for those of you who would like an even bigger apartment block.
Fusion Ramen Stand
A small, single floor building which also boasts optional slot-in hanging signage and other clip-in components. A separate row of seating and a free-standing sign is also included.
DocStims Medical Building
A large two-floor building with frontal overhang.
808 Club Building
A mid-sized, two floor building with optional slot-in hanging signage.
Laundromat
Another small, single-floor building ideal for adding character to you table.
All the buildings included have not only removable roofs and accessible interiors, but also the option for ‘slot-in signage with ladder or stair access to upper floors / roof areas’. All the components required for these buildings have been designed to print on the average FDM home printer without the need for supports.
Another really cool feature of this campaign is its simplicity: it features a single pledge level which includes all the building designs in this core set. A set of ‘modular OpenLOCK 'riser' tiles’ are also included, allowing backers to ‘elevate your layouts’. There's also a lifetime merchant license pledge for well, the lifetime merchants amongst you.
This campaign has already attracted more than £11,000 worth of pledges, smashing its funding goal in the process. As one would expect from a Kickstarter, it is now unlocking stretchgoals such as thematic scatter, objective markers, walkways, full colour posters and more.
See the Kickstarter page for more details.
