Those of you playing Black Templars and Grey Knights are about to receive some welcome reinforcements.

Revealed yesterday on the Games Workshop website, these new goodies offer not only support for existing Black Templar and Grey Knights players, but also offer a welcome jumping on point for those of you looking to field a new chapter. The new Black Templar Combat Patrol, for instance, includes the Emperor’s Champion, three Bladeguard Veterans, five Sword Brethren, and 10 Crusaders.

A collection of 20 miniature figures representing the Black Templars from the Warhammer 40,000 universe, arranged on a light-colored surface. The models are predominantly clad in black armor with red and white accents, showcasing various weapons such as swords, bolters, and shields. Some figures are posed dynamically, while others stand in more static positions, highlighting their distinct roles within the chapter, including a prominent figure likely representing the Emperor’s Champion.

Not to be outdone, the Grey Knights have deployed both a new Combat Patrol and a Sanctic Conclave. The former is composed of five Brotherhood Terminators, a 10-man Strike Squad, and a mighty Venerable Dreadnought, all of which are led by Castellan Crowe, a ‘peerless duellist who wields the Black Blade of Antwyr’.

The front center features a prominent character in ornate armor, holding a banner, flanked by various warriors equipped with swords, guns, and other weapons. The figures are painted in a mix of silver, black, and red, with intricate details highlighting their armor and weaponry, set against a simple brown base.

Meanwhile, the Grey Knights Sanctic Conclave, meanwhile, contains five Paladins, five Brotherhood Terminators, and a set of 20 Grey Knights, all commanded by a mighty Grand Master in Nemesis Dreadknight.

If these two sets don’t pack quite enough punch for you, then fear not; further backup is available, with Black Templars now able to call upon a Crusade Ancient and one of the ‘fervent warrior-priests’ known as the Execrators.

Black Templars get a new warrior-priest called the Execrator this month, though perhaps they should've workshopped that name a bit longer. Fresh Combat Patrols deploy for both Templars and Grey Knights too. #Warhammer40k #BlackTemplars #GreyKnights #GamesWorkshop #TabletopGaming #Miniatures #wh40k
