What about that wacky Games Workshop, eh? You take your eye of ‘em for the weekend and what do they do? Announce stonking new Kill Team releases on a Sunday, that’s what!

Revealed yesterday, the new and forthcoming Kill Team: Shadowhunt set pitches two full kill teams against one another. It includes a 88-page Shadowhunt dossier which contains rules for Shadowhunt’s new Descent killzone game boards, which can be divided into upper and lower layers. Joint Ops and Adversary Ops Shadowhunt mission packs are also included, with each featuring rules for new co-op and competitive games.

Arguably the main attraction of this new set, however, are the Adepta Sororitas and Chaos Space kill teams. The Celestian Insidiants are a team of nine Sisters of Battle packing anti-psyker weaponry, and the Murderwing is a sextet of Chaos nutcases sporting jump packs and very sharp melee weapons.

A collection of detailed miniatures from the Kill Team: Shadowhunt set features two opposing factions: the Adepta Sororitas and Chaos Space Marines. The Adepta Sororitas, known as the Celestian Insidiants, are depicted in dark armor with red accents, wielding various weapons, while the Chaos Space Marines, represented by the Murderwing, showcase a more chaotic design with jump packs and menacing melee weapons. The miniatures are arranged on a grassy base, highlighting their intricate details and dynamic poses.

Needless to say, Kill Team: Shadowhunt also includes not only all the datacards and tokens you’ll need to field the enclosed teams, but also decals with which to beautify your new miniatures.

Other new releases in this reveal include Tau XV26 stealth battlesuits and Space Wolves scout kill teams, and the datacards you’ll need to use these swish new models.

A collection of detailed miniatures from the Warhammer 40,000 universe features a mix of Tau and Space Marine models. The Tau figures are predominantly white and black, showcasing advanced technology with various weapons and drones, while the Space Marines are clad in blue armor, equipped with firearms and melee weapons. The scene includes a variety of poses and accessories, set on textured bases that enhance the overall dynamic appearance of the miniatures.

Murderwing sounds like a lost Bolt Thrower track. The album cover would be six chaos marines dive-bombing nuns in a crypt. Anyway, Kill Team: Shadowhunt from Games Workshop. Now with multi-storey carnage. #KillTeam #WH40k #warhammer #chaos #shadowhunt
