Fantasy Flight Games Head Into The Vault...

There has been quite a bit of speculation over Fantasy Flight Games plans for their Vault series. The Vault Series delves into Fantasy Flight Games back catalog of out of print games to bring fans new editions, funded by crowdfunding. Today we found out that the first Vault campaign will see the long out-of-print Arkham Horror 2nd Edition return in a Remastered Edition.

Due to launch on Gamefound in October, the new edition of this classic game will come with deluxe components and new gameplay elements, as well as all-new dashboards for both Investigators and Ancient Ones.

Arkham Horror was originally released by Chaosium back in 1987. A cooperative game themed around H.P. Lovecrafts Cthulhu Mythos, the game saw the players exploring the town of Arkham trying to stop unmentionable horrors from entering in to our world. Fantasy Flight Games resurrected the game with an updated edition in 2005, which also saw the game receive it’s first expansions such as Dunwich Horror and Innsmouth Horror. A third edition of the game followed in 2018.

Arkham Horror is for 1-8 players, ages 14+, and usually takes around 3+ hours to play
