Dracula, Jaws and More Clash in New Horror Trading Card Game Hellbreak

Just in time for Halloween a new trading card game is aiming to bring horror to our gaming tables. Hellbreak is an upcoming horror-themed trading card game featuring iconic monsters such as Dracula, Jaws, The Bride and The Headless Horseman.

Using characters from classic Universal Monsters to late-20th Century horror icons, the game allows players to pit their favourite horror characters against each other in brutal head-to-head battles. Choose your monster, build your deck, and fight to destroy your rival before they destroy you.

Developed by Spin Master, Universal Products, and Ghost Galaxy (a tabletop game company founded in 2019 by Christian Petersen, the original creator of Fantasy Flight Games) Hellbreak is due for an international release on 7th October 2026.

The game will initially be available as a 2-player Starter that gives you everything two players need to start playing, featuring exclusive Jaws and Dracula monster cards, Booster packs of 13 cards (available as individual booster packs or in 24-booster pack display units), and the Hellbreak Booster Bundle that gives you 9 Booster Packs, an Exclusive Foil Card, Deluxe Storage Box and an Initiative Challenge Coin.

The 13-card booster packs are guaranteed to each include 1 foil, 1 borderless, and 1 rare-or-higher card.

In addition to casual play, there are plans for Hellbreak to have organised local play, as well as regional, national and international tournaments. With Universal Studios being the focus of the initial set, other major studios are set to be announced for future products bringing a wide range of horror icons - past and present - to Hellbreak games.
