Bug fixes

Body

Hey, long time no speak! We've been stupidly busy here at Tabletop Towers - we have some new features to release hopefully the weekend, but for now the latest version is a whole heap of bug fixes:

  • ‘Add’ in the header menu now has a drop down to facilitate new content types

  • Cookies no longer needed

  • Site works without javascript enabled

  • Layout of stories improved with more focus given to the title and image

  • Article layout is now full page again

  • Lots of metadata fixes for seo

  • Genres, Partners and Tags pages now use pagination instead of the Roc to improve seo

  • Pretty much everything is now using SSR (server side rendering)

  • Lots of general fixes to the display of content (e.g. linebreaks between paragraphs)

  • Inline hashtags work better, but still need improvement

  • Various things have been moved around the page to ensure content is front and center

  • Fixes bug where the slug in content was rewritten if the content was altered - this was breaking social links etc

  • Image handling in the editor has been fixed to remove an infinite loop when dragging and dropping images

  • Various ux improvements in the content editor

  • Loading skeletons introduced in places so it should be more obvious when a page is loading

  • Fixes double posting when creating content

  • User profile layout and partner profile layout refactored a little

  • Title handling in content has been improved instead of the wacky stuff that was going on

  • Youtube videos don’t b0rk the page anymore

  • Caching improved

Please let us know when you find more bugs (i just found one writing this out... it never ends)

And for now, please enjoy this tune (as i test the automatic youtube stuff)
