Mantic are upgrading their digital offering in a big way.
The app formerly known as Mantic Vault has enjoyed a significant makeover and is now going under the nom de guerre ‘Mantic Digital’. Not only has the name changed, but so has the app’s scope and capabilities.
This new app will assume the Vault’s mantle as the home of Mantic’s digital library and STL service. This service will offer customers an expanding catalogue of ‘high-quality STL files for miniatures, terrain, and accessories’. Subscribers will also enjoy access to printable content such as rulebooks for Mantic’s various game systems, including Kings of War, Firefight, Armada et al.
This new look app—and its enhanced functionality—also allows Mantic to expand the tiers on offer to subscribers; these tiers will now include Fanatic, Club Mantic and Companion.
Fanatic membership is priced at £15.00 per month and is designed for those who play at least two Mantic games, and who also print STLs. It includes monthly STL releases, access to all of the ‘Mantic IP Game Systems’ (such as Kings of War, Deadzone, Firefight etc), unlimited list building, store discounts and two exclusive resin miniatures a year.
Club Mantic, meanwhile, also offers access to Mantic IP games and unlimited list building. Other benefits include a digital store discount and a choice of one free and exclusive resin miniature; this tier costs £7.50 a month.
Finally, Companion Membership, is £4.50 per month and allows subscribers access to a single Mantic IP game system and unlimited lists for that game system.
Mantic Digital will also be the home of Mantic’s library of STL files. At present the library’s shelves are little bare, but Mantic promise that they will be ‘regularly adding more units and files from the extensive back catalogue’ over the coming weeks. The library will contain not only individually models, but also ‘curated collections built around factions, armies, terrain sets, or narrative themes’.
For those of us who don’t own a 3D printer will also be able to purchase ‘selected Vault designs’ via Mantic’s webstore.
