Old Oak Games Preview Beyond the Woods

Old Oak Games have previewed their forthcoming crowdfunding campaign.

Coming soon to Kickstarter, Beyond the Woods entreats backers to discover ‘a brand new dark fantasy campaign setting for the acclaimed Legend in the Mist RPG.’ This new setting is ‘the shadowed lands of Tír Nascath’, and it is waiting for you ‘and a band of unlikely allies’ to grab your gear [and] explore a world inspired by ancient Irish myth and legend’.

Needless to say, Tir Nascath is no holiday camp, filled as it is with ‘unquiet spirits, overgrown ruins, and forgotten magic’. This rich new setting ‘draws on the great legends and lesser-known tales […] to create a strange and mysterious world of magic, spirits, and faeries’. Those who brave it will encounter ‘unknown horrors [and] otherworldly spirits’ as they search ‘long-forgotten ruins in the hopes of finding something that can save [their] home’.

Beyond the Woods offers a ‘new way to play Legend in the Mist’ and, in Tir Nascath, ‘a new campaign setting’ which only the boldest—or the most foolhardy—of heroes would dare explore.

Those of you who sign up to be notified when the Kickstarter is launched will also receive a free 30- page, digital preview.
