Mighty Boards Open Pre-Orders on Red North

Mighty Boards are preparing to conquer the Red North.

Described as a ‘a combative game of hidden information and bluffing’, Red North is a new and updated edition of Saer, a game originally published last year by La Mame Games. As with Saer, this strategic card game revolves around the use of hidden hands of warriors—all mustered from various factions—to attack and conquer opponents’ outposts.

Resources and warriors are scarce, however, and must be used and deployed wisely. All players must balance their immediate want of warriors with the need to maintain a host in reserve. These reserves will be needed to do battle in the eventual—and final—Ragnarok phase of the game, in which even the Norse Gods entire the fray.

Now available for pre-order, Red North will be released in October 2025. In the interim, however, those of you attending Essen Spiel and / or PAX Unplugged will be able to pick up your copy from the Mighty Boards stand. A PDF of the rulebook can also be downloaded from their website.
