On the left, "Tales from Mervalde" showcases a dramatic scene with adventurers in a boat navigating turbulent waters, surrounded by dark trees and a stormy sky. On the right, "Five Go Quackers in Duckton Abbey" displays a group of anthropomorphic ducks and a wolf, dressed in adventurer attire, set against a moonlit backdrop, emphasizing a humorous and whimsical tone. The titles are prominently displayed in bold, eye-catching fonts.

Dunderdagar’s latest Dragonbane Kickstarter is coming to an end.

Entitled Dragonbane: Tales from Mervalde & Five go Quackers..., this campaign features two new books for the popular fantasy roleplaying game.

The first of these, Tales from Mervalde, contains a complete collection of Dunderdagar’s previous Dragonbane scenarios and short adventures. The book also includes detailed guides to the countries in which these tales take place.

The second book is an adventure entitled Five Go Quackers in Duckton Abbey. It is written British writer and game designer Daniel Gooch. With its humorous tone and focus on ‘lighthearted chaos’, this scenario is described as ‘fun departure from the typical Dragonbane adventure’. It stars a mallard on a ‘hilarious quest’, so, as a guy who always ducks in Runequest and Dragonbane, I am all over this one!

The Kickstarter has already smashed its funding goal and unlocked most of its stretchgoals: these include a rogues gallery of extra, pre-generated characters; upgraded hardcovers for both books; a printed map of the countries featured in the scenario Tales from Mervalde; art prints and bookmark ribbons.

This is the 17th campaign by veteran publisher Dunderdagar. It ends on Saturday, December 13th at 2:00 PM UTC.
