HBO's Baldurs Gate TV drama in the works, but Netflix Forgotten Realms series cancelled.

One of the games that help popularise Dungeons & Dragons as a cooperative dungeon-crawling board game is returning to tabletops.

Ravensburger have fallen under the foul influence of Count Strahd von Zarovich, and only your heroes can save the day in Horrified: Dungeons & Dragons - Ravenloft. The game is hitting UK & Irish stores mid-July, and North American stores in August (although Target may have advance stock in July).

Hot on the heels of the news earlier this week that Avalon Hill are resurrecting Fury of Dracula they’ve also announced a return of another classic game - Guillotine!

Some games just refuse to stay (un)dead. I remember picking up the first edition of Fury of Dracula, originally published by Games Workshop when it came out way back in 1987. It was a great ‘cat and mouse’ style of game where one player was Dracula and everyone else were hunters working together to try and track him down and put an end of his reign of terror.

This coming week see’s the first wave of G.I. JOE Heroscape games, expansions and terrain sets hit stores. The game, published by Renegade Game Studios under license from Hasbro/Avalon Hill kicks off with the G.I. JOE Heroscape: Rumble at the Rift Battle Box which see’s the Joe’s and Cobra, thanks to the bizarre inventions of the crazed Doctor Mindbender, transported far from Earth to another world known as ‘Valhalla’.

We’ve certainly been in a privileged position with the wealth of The Lord of the Rings games over the last couple of decades, but Restoration Games and Space Cowboys are hoping we have space in our Kallax for one more, as today they announced a team-up for The Lord of the Rings: The King’s Gambit.
