Games Workshop Preview Their New World Eaters

A group of World Eaters miniatures stands prominently against a fiery orange background, depicting a chaotic battlefield. The figures are heavily armored, predominantly in red with black and silver details, showcasing various weapons and intricate designs, including a large, imposing character at the center. The rocky terrain beneath them adds to the dramatic atmosphere, emphasizing their fierce presence in the Warhammer 40k universe.

It’s a bad news day for the 41st millennium; the World Eaters are back.

Previewed today on the Warhammer Community website, the new versions of Khorne’s finest will be available for pre-order this weekend, as will the new Codex: World Eaters. This new codex will not only feature ‘exciting new rules, playstyles, and tricks to master’, but it will also remind 40k players why you don’t want to mess with these boys.

The preview details two key Detachments: the Berzerker Warband and Goretrack Onslaught. Both of these benefit from buffed charges, increased AP and a suite of bonuses that are going to make opponent wet their pants.

The Berzerkers have been working out, and these new-look versions are not only faster, but they can also be fielded in larger numbers. Team ‘em up with a Lord on Juggernaut, and they become even more deadly; their move increase to 10" and they gain a 3" reach.

The Goretrack Onslaught, meanwhile, are designed to be used with transports. Enhancements and Stratagems such as Murderous Onslaught, Aggressive Deployment and Full-Throttle Assault offer them a suite of buffs, all of which are designed to make your Khornites fast and deadly. Combine them with Rhinos, and they become positively obscene!
