Brave the 2D6 Void on Kickstarter
Body
Toby Lancaster’s latest crowdfunding campaign is off to a great start.
Entitled 2D6 Void, this new campaign is seeking funds for a brand-new version of the popular solo dungeon crawler, 2D6 Dungeon. This incarnation is set in a future version of 2D6 Dungeon’s city of Coradine, and gameplay revolves around the player’s efforts to infiltrate the Dark Hulk which threatens to destroy the city. Once inside this Dark Hulk, you must battle the many and various enemies that stand in your way before you can complete you mission.
The campaign also features two expansions for 2D6 Void: Space Pirates and 2D6 Void: Pal-Bot; the former enhances your adventure with a wee hovering buddy, whilst the Space Pirates expansion adds further hazards to your mission in the form of … well .. space pirates.
Pledges include physical and digital editions of 2D6 Void, as well spiralbound and hardback editions. A special edition, material wrapped hardback is also available; this features a ‘sleek ‘Dark Hulk’ design [with] an image of the Dark Hulk on the exterior, ribbon and super fine finish’.
Although only a few hours old at the time of writing, 2D6 Void is already backed to the tune of £36,000+ and is now unlocking stretchgoals; these include new artwork for various items, an alternative design for the 2D6 Void character sheet and a ‘Holographic Projection Table’. Before you ask, I have no idea what this ‘Holographic Projection Table’ is, but I know I really, really want one.
The campaign also features a variety of add-ons, including physical and digital editions of the 2D6 Void Pal-Bot and Space Pirates expansion, game cards, sets of dice and more.
2D6 Void is a standalone game which potential backers do not need to have played 2D6 Dungeon to enjoy.
This is the twelfth campaign by Toby Lancaster. It ends on Tuesday, January 6th, 2026 at 10:00 PM UTC.
