The book will also be bringing back old favourites like the 714 Chagrin and the 536b Grit, There will be new faces too like the rebranded 909 Kill-O-Morph and a mysterious hybrid design from the Formation Era known as the 354 Grunt.

Species Guide 2: Stormer/Bio-Gen also details new weapons, equipment, pets, and biogenetic enhancements for Stormer dimensions as well as Nuke Tendon implants for the smaller folk, and much, more!

Get paid to smash things! It’s fun being a Stormer…

“One of the things I’m most excited about is the ability to make 4-armed Stormers again…that and Gators…I love a Gator Stormer!” – Mark Rapson, co-writer of the upcoming Species Guide 2: Stormer/Bio-Gen and CEO of Nightfall Games.

“Diving back into everything Stormer has been amazing. To be writing about Senti and Slayer again just makes me smile.” – Dave Allsop, Species Guide 2: Stormer/Bio-Gen project lead and creator of SLA Industries.

No details on a firm release date, other than ‘early 2027’, or whether the book will be released with or without a crowdfunding campaign, have currently been announced.

What is SLA Industries?

First published in Scotland in 1993, SLA Industries (pronounced “Slay Industries”) is a science-fiction horror roleplaying game mixing corporate dystopia, conspiracy, grotesque biotechnology and televised violence.

Players become Operatives: agents, investigators and enforcers working for the corporation that dominates the World of Progress. Centred on the sprawling city of Mort, they carry out dangerous assignments or BPNs (the official contracts issued by SLA Industries), corporate secrets and the pursuit of better equipment, sponsorship and notoriety. Surviving the job is only part of the challenge, as getting noticed and climbing the ratings popularity chart can be just as important for your characters survival and career prospects.

Who are Nightfall Games?

Nightfall Games is an independent UK tabletop roleplaying publisher with Scottish roots and a history stretching back to SLA Industries’ original release. Original creators Dave Allsop and Jared Earle remain involved as art director and production director respectively, alongside managing director Mark Rapson.

Beyond SLA Industries, Nightfall’s other games include The Terminator RPG, StokerVerse and Demon Dog, giving the company a catalogue with a strong taste for horror and dark settings.
