Alderac Entertainment Group (AEG) has launched Electrify on Kickstarter, inviting players to build an electricty industry in a developing solarpunk world. Designed by veteran designer John D. Clair Space Base, Mystic Vale, and Cubitos) and AEG inhouse designer Ian Hutchinson for which Electrify is his debut design.

Designed for medium-to-heavy strategy gamers, every decision ramps up your combo machine. Work towards a perfectly mmassive, powerfully satisfying combo on your last turn, leaving you wanting for just one more turn, one more game.

Electrify is an engine-building game for one to four players, and has a play time of between 45-75 minutes. Players compete to meet demand while favouring cleaner forms of energy. Over 12 rounds they play cards across five revolving sectors. Activating a sector changes the arrangement of power of their cards, so a useful combination may need rethinking on the next turn. The aim is to link actions across sectors into increasingly productive chains. Optional Tech Packs add different technologies and tactics to the game, which also includes solo scenarios.

Electrify is currently live on Kickstarter and is running until Friday 16th October 2026.
