Two Big Additions to the Spectre Miniatures Modern Vehicle Range

Spectre Miniatures have released a brand new Challenger 3 Tank alongside a completely redesigned LTV. The original LTV miniature was designed while the real vehicle was in development, using the information that was available at the time. When accurate dimensions became available it became clear to Spectre that their model was a little oversized, so they’ve now gone back and rescaled it to its correct real-world proportions.

The Challenger 3 is the next evolution of British heavy armour, bringing the Challenger lineage firmly into the modern battlefield. Combining a powerful new smoothbore main gun, advanced protection systems, upgraded sights, and a digitally networked turret, it represents a major step forward in the British Army’s armoured capability. Its imposing profile and purposeful design make it an ideal centrepiece for contemporary and near-future British forces.

A perfect addition to British Army collections, the Challenger 3 suits a wide range of modern settings, from high-intensity conventional warfare to NATO operations, armoured breakthroughs, defensive actions, and peer-conflic scenarios. It brings a formidable and unmistakably British presence to the tabletop, representing the future of the UK’s main battle tank force.

This is a new re-scaled model and is supplied with an RWS, rear armour, Turret, and rear cage, allowing you to build variants.

It is also compatible with Specter HMV turrets and Remote Weapons Stations, as well as suitable HMV accessories such as antennas and stowage, allowing the vehicle to be adapted to suit the mission. The model also features a rear hatch, representing access between the crew compartment and the protected cargo bay.

The Light Tactical Vehicle, or LTV, represents a new generation of protected light mobility for modern forces. Designed to meet emerging battlefield threats across a wide range of environments, it combines high mobility, improved reliability, and MRAP-like protection against small arms, mines, IEDs, and indirect fire, while retaining a lower sulhouette and lighter footprint than earlier armoured patrol vehicles. Its adaptable layout and rugged modern profile make it an ideal fit for contemporary and near-future military operations.
