LEGO NINJAGO Family Boardgame Coming 30th July

As part of LEGO’s 15th anniversary celebration of NINJAGO, their longest running homegrown entertainment IP, LEGO have teamed up Asmodee to bring us LEGO: NINJAGO - Destiny’s Bounty Adventures - a cooperative family boardgame for 2-4 players, ages 8+.

The game, which takes between 30-45 minutes to play, has an international street date of 30th July 2026. Players team up as Ninjas to defend the iconic ship Destiny’s Bounty from a host of villains. During the game you and your fellow Ninja will go on thrilling adventures facing serpents, pirates. and even a bewildered postman. To defeat the Villains, you will have to unlock your Ninja potential, upgrade your skills, and work together with the other Ninja, using your unique abilities, to thwart the Villains pland to conquer the ship.

The game includes a number of adventures, with each having a different difficulty and set-up, making the players have to rethink their strategies in different ways to succeed, The Villains try to reach important areas of the ship and, if they do, they add to the Villain Track. If this track becomes full then the NInja lose the game.

To win, the Ninja must do things like drink tea, read comic books, and defeat Villains. As they resolve their various goals they fill up their victory tracks, which unlock upgrades and gain cards that give characters specific abilities. Which of these cards you choose, and how you cooperate with the other players, will be essential to winning the game.
