Paizo Add The Wicker Man Scenario to 13 Omens Campaign

Paizo aren’t slowing down with their announcements about licensed story zines for their currently funding new horror TTRPG 13 Omens. On the back of news that they had licensed Re-Animator and three classic Hammer Horror films last week, their latest campaign update has another classic joining them.

The Wicker Man (1973)

Director: Robin Hardy

Stars: Edward Woodward, Christopher Lee, Britt Ekland, Diane Cilento, Ingrid Pitt

Released in 1973, The Wicker Man follows Sergeant Neil Howie, a devoutly Christian policeman investigating the disappearance of a young girl on the remote Scottish island of Summerisle. Met with evasive answers, he discovers a community whose pagan beliefs and rituals bring him into conflict with the island’s charismatic leader, Lord Summerisle. As preparations for the May Day celebrations gather pace, Howie becomes convinced that the missing girl faces a terrible fate. The film became a landmark of British cinema and a classic folk horror tale.

The Wicker Man—A 13 Omens Story

By Kenneth Hite

When the apple harvest fails again on Summerisle, there won’t be a handy Scottish police virgin to burn alive. No, it’s going to be someone on the island. And if you think fast and move faster, it won’t be you. Team up with the landlord’s daughter, the librarian, the harbor master, and the local doctor to put someone else in the Wicker Man this year—the only legitimate sacrifice, Lord Summerisle himself! This crackling 13 Omens story provides a sequel to the classic folk horror film The Wicker Man.

The zine will be available as a paid add-on, or included at the higher pledge levels of the campaign.

13 Omens is currently funding on Kickstarter, with the campaign running until Friday 13th November 2026.
