Factory Fortress Release New Trench Crusade Playtest Rules

Body

The latest version of the Trench Crusade playtest rules are now available.

Created by Factory Fortress, the epic Trench Crusade campaign funded on Kickstarter (to the tune of a whopping $3,331,943, no less…) in November of 2024. A tabletop wargame set in ‘a blasphemously alternate WW1’, this full-on wargame is the brainchild of artist Mike Franchina (Diablo 2r/3/4, Path of Exile 2, Magic: The Gathering). and the rules have been written by game designer Tuomas Pirinen (Mordheim, Warhammer 6th edition).

An update on the Trench Crusade Facebook page described the rules as a work in progress, and that they ‘will continue to evolve as development of the game continues’. That said, this is still a great way to sample the game and get a peek at one of the hottest wargames of 2024 / 25.

Check out the Trench Crusade Facebook page for more details.
