Stylized emblem featuring a shield design. At the top of the shield, bold white capital letters spell "BATTLE". In the center, a large white number "3" is integrated with a sword pointing downward. Below the shield, a green banner with white capital letters reads "FOAM" and to the right of it, a registered trademark symbol "(R)". The background depicts a cluttered tabletop with miniature terrain pieces, small figures, dice, and a red vehicle model. The setting appears to be a gaming or hobby workspace.

Wyld Holdings, the parent company of Wayland Games, has added Arizona based Battle Foam to their portfolio, in their latest acquisition.

Wyld Holdings, who have an array of companies covering manufacture, retail and distribution, with the likes of Warcradle Studios, Occam Distribution, Wayland Games, and OnTableTop, only brought German gaming mat producers Kraken Wargames in March but that doesn;t seem to have sated their appetitie for expansion.

US-based Battle Foam make foam-based storage cases for miniature wargaming, as well as ranges of non-wargaming storage accessorries for items such as golf clubs and camera lenses. Originally founded in 2008 by Romeo Filip, the company quickly grew from a single employee and opened the Battle Foam Gaming Saloon retauil space in Gilbert, Arizona, in 2011, and their first international manufacturing plant in Southend-on-Sea, in the UK, in 2016.

They’ve had a long history with Wyld Holdings, with the group having sold and distributed Battle Foams wargaming storage range in the UK for years. The acquisition allows Battle Foam to focus on creating products whilst leaving Wyld to leverage it’s other companies and knowledge to increase the ranges reach into wider distribution and on to more store shelves.

Memory foam was invented in 1966 by NASA so astronauts wouldn't end up as re-entry space paste. In much the same way Wyld Holdings has bought Battle Foam - similar mission, only preventing more 'snappy' incidents, than 'runny' outcomes #miniatures #battleFoam #NASA #Space #HumanCrayons
