Now available on the Wargames Illustrated website, this new of collection features some of their most popular rules booklets. It includes:

Never Mind the Matchlocks: described as a ‘complete set of pike and shot rules for gaming small battles in the English Civil War’, this riffs on the popular Never Mind the Billhooks medieval rules to produce a stand-alone game. These compact rules are presented in a 32-page, full colour booklet.

Valour & Fortitude: this set of ‘Napoleonic big battle rules’ is driven by six-sided dice and a pack of regular playing cards; it is also written by industry grandees Jervis Johnson and the Perry twins.

Thalassa: this ‘tactically rich [and] fast-paced game of’ sees players battle one another in ancient naval battles.

Assassins and Templars: a ‘narrative-heavy tabletop skirmish game set in the Crusades’.
