Giant Leap Games Launches Two-Player Medieval Card Duelling Game Parry

Swords are useful, but reading your opponent may be the sharper weapon in Parry: A Medieval Duel of Wits from Giant Leap Games. The new two-player card game pits the Light Knight against the Night Knight (trying saying those quickly several times in a row!) in a contect to drive the other friom the arena.

Each round the advancing knight lays out a sequence of cards and uses tactics to gain ground. Their opponent tries to predict, counter, and bluff their way to defend themselves and land a parry, reversing the roles and turning defence into an attack. The duel ultimately rewards the knight who forces their rival out of the arena or gains the most ground. The rules are simple but surprisingly hold strategic depth. Games last around 10-20 minutes and are recommended for ages 14+.

Parry: A Medieval Duel of Wits launched on Kickstarter on the 22nd September and is running until Friday 9th October 2026.
