Age of Vikings is a tabletop roleplaying game set in medieval Iceland, a land on the edge of known world, where Vikings can seek honour and fame through adventures. The game covers the history of mythic Iceland - detailing the life of a Viking, laws and government, religion, wild and wondrous creatures of legend, and rules for ships and seafaring, inlcuding naval combat. A guide to Icelandic magic, rules for combining different Norse runes to cast powerful spells, and the shamanic practice of seidr isalso covered in the main rulebook which was released last year and is available in Hardcover or PDF.

Mythical creatures such as sea serpents and mermaids are depicted in the surrounding waters, while Viking ships sail along the coast. The map is adorned with decorative borders and labels, enhancing its fantasy theme and connection to the Age of Vikings tabletop roleplaying game.
