Wizards of the Coast Preview Tarkir: Dragonstorm

Magic the Gathering: Dragonstorm hits the shelves 11th April., and Wizards of the Coast have given us a glimpse of what’s in store.

Published yesterday, this article gives us an enticing insight into the forthcoming set, including the concept of not only dragonstorms, but also the clans which gather to face and overcome them. Each of these clans has keywords such as Endure, Flurry, Renew, Mobilize and Harmonize, and each of these keywords grants different buffs and bonuses.

Some of the set’s dragon cards also have their own Omens, with each of these granting different effects when cast. There are also cool new (or tweaked) mechanics such as Behold, Hybrid Mana, Surveil and more,

This really is just the briefest insight into a set which promises to be ‘filled with cinematic action, dynamic clan gameplay, and powerful new dragons’.
