MTGs' Lorwyn Eclipsed in Your FLGS

Wizards of the Coast have brought their new Magic: the Gathering expansion to your local friendly games store.

Entitled Lorwyn Eclipsed, this new release not only dares players to ‘enter the ever-changing plane of Lorwyn and Shadowmoor’, but also promises a world in which ‘the many creatures live in order and harmony’. Conversely, Shadowmoor—a world ‘cast in forever night and filled with creatures of a more chaotic ilk’—is rife with wild magic. Both of these two worlds, however, are rife with ‘elves, merfolk, kithkin, boggarts, elementals, and more’.

Players can also look forward to not only a host of ‘powerful new creature strategies’, but also a rogue’s gallery of new commanders; these include the likes of Auntie Ool, the Reaper and more.

This new release also boasts throwback cards which promise to ‘rekindle the magic of the original Lorwyn block’; these ‘celebrate your return to the land of light and shadow’ with cards which include ‘beloved creature types, classic art, and reimagined cards’.

This new set can be purchased in a variety of different ways, ranging from single packs of play and collectors boosters, to preconstructed decks and a pre-release pack.
