London based design team The BoardGame Zone have launched a Kickstarter for an intriguing set of rings. Why are we, a gaming site, interested in these you may well be pondering? Well, each of these fantasy themed rings includes a vault hidden in the ring which contains a full set of seven polyhedral miniature dice.

Whereas Sauron forged twenty magical rings of power in Tolkein’s novels, The BoardGame Zone have created four designs… and ‘probably’ haven’t forged a master ring to rule over them, so wearers of these needn’t worry about becoming Nazgul in their distant futures… well, probably not.

The four designs in the set are Gravebound Tome, featuring a skull motif, Runic Oath, Elven Crest, and Arcane Sigil. Each ring is crafted from brass and finished with an aged surface treatment to bring out its sculpted fantasy details. Each ring is available in either silvered brass or antique brass.

Apart from the fantasy imagery each DieRing is designed with a hinge, clasp, and magnetic closure, that reveals a hidden compartment were seven miniature RPG dice lay in wait. Each ring carries a complete set consisting of a d4, d6, d8, d10, d%, d12, and of course the d20. So as long as you have your ring on you will never have an excuse for forgetting your dice on games night! Although reading them might require a bit of fiddling with our glasses for some of us as each die is between 5-9mm.
