Mad Lizard Games' Shards of Gods Launches Soon

Mad Lizard Games are preparing to launch the Kickstarter campaign for their latest game, Shards of Gods.

Set in the world of Elun, Shards of Gods is a new fantasy tabletop game built around what Mad Lizard Games describe as ‘an unprecedented modular rule system.’ It promises to combine ‘modern art’ and ‘intuitive gameplay’ to deliver ‘epic adventures [in] a world of immersive storytelling’. The game is also said to be ‘Perfect for both newcomers and seasoned TTRPG enthusiasts’.

The aforementioned modular rules system promises ‘ultimate flexibility’ which will allow players to adapt Shards of Gods’ gameplay to their liking, thus enabling ‘crunchy rules or free flowing roleplay based on your group’s taste and TTRPG expertise’. Players can also create their own characters or use a selection of pre-generated protagonists.

The core Shards of Gods game will feature everything required to play, including:

A rule book

An adventure book

Pre-generated player characters

Custom character sheets

Battle maps

All the tokens, standees, and cards required to play

Dice

These are the core components, and, as one would expect of a crowdfunded project, more goodies will be revealed and unlocked during the campaign proper.

The Shards of Gods Kickstarter will launch soon.
