Can You Weather the Rat Storm Rising?

Ramshackle Games’ latest Kickstarter campaign is now in its final week.

Entitled Rat Storm Rising, this new collection of 28mm scale resin miniatures figures showcases thirteen hand-sculpted, resin miniatures. These miniatures have been sculpted by Curtis Fell.

As the title of the campaign suggests, those miniatures are flea-ridden ratmen including not only warriors, but also robed, plague priest-style bucks. Armed to their big ol’ verminous teeth, the warriors carry an assortment of daggers, shields, spear and slings. The dastardly priests, meanwhile, wield daggers and chalices. The campaign also includes a sprue of extra shields.

As an additional flourish, each resin miniature is also cast with a piece of scatter terrain attached to their slotta-base; these include various pieces of wall, windows, arches et al; it really is a neat touch, and I like it a lot. I also like the fact Rat Storm Rising is such a simple campaign; no stretch goals, no add-ons, just a group of cool and characterful miniatures. Bravo.
