Desolation Terra is heading to Kickstarter.
Whilst details are thin on the ground at the moment, the Desolation Terra Facebook page describes this forthcoming game as an ‘intense miniature wargame set in a dystopian future’ in which players ‘Command […] Tactical Combat Armor, make strategic decisions, and shape the future of Earth.’ These themes are echoed in the preview art, which depicts towering, Gundam-style mecha in combat with equally gigantic alien invaders.
Given the recent and continued rise in the popularity of Gundam model kits, I think this could be a big hit. If it’s caught your attention, then you can sign up to the newsletter via the Desolation Terra website. You can also follow the project via its Facebook page.

A large box for the game "Desolation Terra" features dynamic artwork depicting futuristic mechs engaged in battle, with vibrant colors and dramatic lighting. On the left, a detailed mech stands prominently, showcasing a sleek design with red and gray accents. The game's title is displayed at the top center, surrounded by a stylized emblem, enhancing the sci-fi theme of the scene.

A large, armored robot with a menacing appearance stands on the left, featuring dark metallic colors with green accents and a shield displaying a horned creature's face. Opposite it, another imposing robot with sharp angles and a sleek design is positioned on the right, emitting beams of energy. The background depicts a desolate, ruined cityscape, adding to the dramatic atmosphere of the scene.
