The Battlemonsters Kickstarter has smashed its funding target.
Launched only five days ago by Restoration Games, this campaign brings cinematic combat between classic movie monsters to your tabletop. With a line-up that boasts iconic creatures such as King Kong, Godzilla, King Ghidorah and more, its easy to see its funded so quickly. The miniatures—which include not only the titular monsters, but also various armoured vehicles, aliens and megafauna—are superb, and the games’ various boards, tiles, tokens et al are equally as impressive. The dice-driven gameplay looks like it will be easy to learn, but harder to master (a combination all games should aspire to!)
